The Union of Cypriots will take part in the protest at the UK Ministry of Defence against NATO’s presence on our island. As an organization that fights against the Turkish occupation and the imposition of imperialist-backed, partitionist, federalist and apartheid solutions, we recognize that these are the primary reasons foreign bases remain in Cyprus. We will stand in protest to affirm that a liberated, unitary, democratic, and sovereign Cyprus is the only path to cutting the windpipe of imperialism in the region.
